This project was for Goldfarb School of Nursing's annual homecoming. For this year’s theme, I started with a pre-existing watercolor image of the school featuring the iconic Arch. I decided to enhance the design by using secondary colors and applying a bitmap effect to the image. This gave it a vintage feel, inspiring me to transform it into a postcard. To achieve this, I added a border around all the elements, creating a cohesive look.
The most important element was the "Save the Date" postcard. I used bold typography integrated with the image to capture the essence of St. Louis as the "Gateway to the West." Arrows were added to symbolize Goldfarb’s forward direction. Along with the postcard, I also created several alternative designs and included some of my previous homecoming designs for comparison.
The final product beautifully combined a nostalgic feel with modern elements, effectively promoting the event and capturing the spirit of Goldfarb School of Nursing.
